Usually, when I see something so chemically coloured, I’m intrigued. I have no idea why my taste buds think the faker the better, but I generally love it. Especially something blue coloured is my go to since it often contains at least a tiny part of natural blueberry, plum and/or blackberry.
But the brains from Vidal were unfortunately too sweet to outsmart. Even though the consistency was pretty accurate to what my mind tells me about the general consistency of brain, the taste was simply bad. Way too sweet with unfortunately no fruity taste at all – even though strawberry flavour is advertised.
Since the price, look and consistency are quite convincing, I guess it would decorate your halloween bowl well. But if you’re hosting a  proper fresscalation party, where taste and quality matter, I would not recommend this product.

Taste1/10I feel like (and hope) there was no actual tasting process to improve the product.
Consistency8/10Accurate, but got really gross after being stored in a plastic bag.
Looks9/10Good, but also just machine-made.
Quality2/10Despite the appearance, no quality recognisable regarding the taste.
Price8/10Pretty cheap, but also bad.
Nutrition0/10Maybe I should add minus scores to my rating.
