If you feel like something savory in this peak time of chocolates and christmas goodies, let me introduce these hummus chips from Eat Real. While the Eat Real chips family offers several varieties of tastes and ingredients like lentils or quinoa, I went for the simple tomate and basil version. Since I am a fan of tomatoes in general, I had to try these when I recently found them in REWE.
Apparently, the brand started off in the 1960s in Kenya to produce snacks for cinemas and schools, which I find particularly cool. And as a snack for sharing or indulging by yourself, they are perfect to fresscalate with. They are light, tasty and have the perfect level of crunchiness. And with their approach to modernise the brand and offer “heathier” versions of chips, you don´t even feel too guilty about inhaling a bag in 15 minutes. Awesome!
