With Halloween within our reach, I had a closer look into what the candy aisles have to offer for this special occasion – and was quite disappointed. I found only a handful of treats which seemed edible and the chosen ones were also not “special” Halloween candy, even though you might think so. The bones and sweet fingers from Vidal’s Mega Jelly Mix are offered all-year-long. I’m not quite sure yet if that’s a good or a bad thing. Supposedly latest, since building the hand in my image was even better than eating it. But if you’re a fan of feet and fingers, try Fini’s Sour Boom Mix. Since I am a true softy, I always prefer sweet over sour, but their sour stuff is not to be sneezed at.
